Are 3D/4D ultrasounds safe?
There are no scientific studies proving any harmful effects to this date, however; you should make sure that the facility you choose to get a 3D ultrasound by has technicians who have trained in a diagnostic medical ultrasound program. There are several 3D/4D ultrasound facilities owned and operated by non-medical professionals who are not familiar with the full scope of operating ultrasound machines. Consult with your care provider regarding any concerns you have about the safety of ultrasounds.
What is the difference between 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasound?
2D ultrasound provides the traditional black and white sonogram image of your unborn baby. 3D ultrasound is an actual three-dimensional color photograph of your baby, showing vivid details such as facial features and movement. 4D ultrasound is an actual moving video-like image of your baby.
Will you be able to tell me the size of my baby?
Because this is an elective ultrasound, we do not measure. Elective 3D/4D ultrasounds are strictly for your enjoyment. Prior to you having a 3D ultrasound, you should be under the care of an OB-GYN, have had a full anatomical ultrasound and be receiving prenatal care.
How long does the ultrasound take?
It can take up to 30 minutes for the session. Keep in mind the baby is in control and will either be an optimal position or not.
Will my insurance cover it?

No, insurance companies do not cover elective ultrasounds.
How early can you determine a baby’s gender?

Gender can be determined as early as 15 weeks. To view the gender, it is always best when you are 18 weeks or more.
Will my pictures look like the pictures on the website?

Every baby scans differently, depending on its gestational age, position, amount of fluid, placental location and mother’s body habitus. Because this is a special moment for you and your family, we make every effort to obtain the best possible images of your baby.
.
Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds but will allow for another session at no additional charge if the first session is not successful.
